The decision to go to New York was made very spontaneous as usual. I’ve already been there and had the plan to spend more time in Brooklyn this time. Therefore, the first Hotel was located right on the border to Brooklyn Heights. Nu Hotel scores with a great location, modern rooms with good coffee machines, bike rental, included breakfast a gym and did I already mention the salt water toffees? Well, there have been salt water toffees in the room (not for long though..). I also liked the L’occitane products in the bathroom. I slept in one of the 14 ‘Nu Perspectives’ rooms, which are hand-painted by local artists with Brooklyn-themed murals which I liked a lot. The metro station “Hoyt” is just two blocks away, which makes it especially easy to get there from the airport (with the A train). Breakfast included Bagels, Muffins, Coffee, Tea, Juice, Cream Cheese, Marmelade etc. I’ve just spent one night before heading to Philadelphia but the choice has been very good. At the last day, I’ve been also provided with tips how to get to Philadelphia, where to book etc. Rooms start at around 240€.
